Principal's Message

Greetings Cardinal Families,

I am the proud principal at San Bernardino High School. I began my time at SBHS in January of 2005 as an English teacher. I taught for eight years before moving on to work in the district's Multilingual Programs Department as a program specialist where I enjoyed advocating in various ways for our English learner population. I then became a vice principal at Cajon High School, where it was confirmed that my heart was leading me back to a school site to continue to positively impact the lives of students. Five years later, I had the opportunity to return to my first work home, SBHS. I would have never imagined I’d come full circle. It is truly a blessing and honor to serve our Cardinal City community.

Here, we believe that every student can learn and flourish when provided with the right support and opportunities. Our teachers and staff are committed to providing quality instruction and service to students with an appropriate and challenging educational experience in a respectful environment that fosters learning and growth.

We are vigilant in our efforts to make students feel seen, heard, valued, cared for, and safe. We are excited to work together with you to elevate the Cardinal pride in our SBHS campus. I truly believe that we can be exactly who our students need if we continue to work collaboratively and support each other.  Thank you for deciding to partner with us in nurturing your child to see their full potential and shine.

Sincerely,

Anna M. Sosa
