Travel Club

SBHS Travel Club: Travel club was designed to offer our students opportunities to travel within the United Staes and Abroad with an educational approach. Each student can earn high School and/or College credit for traveling (There is some course work involved). We use educational travel companies which are licensed, insured and structured to give our students the best educational experiences outside the classroom. Our trips are planned at least 2 years in advance to allow time to pay for the tuition. Tuition costs vary from trip to trip depending on location, time of year and length of travel. While we may not have concrete pricing for all, we do have the destinations for the next several years planned:

March 2020: London and France 12 Days starting in London (4 days) and then head to France for the remainder of the tour. Some of the sites we will be visiting include: Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, British Museum, The Houses of Parliament, St Pauls Cathedral, The Louvre museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Eiffel Tower, the Beaches of Normandy (WWII site), Mont St. Michel, Versailles Palace and much more. We will also be taking a trip out to Disneyland Paris the Last day of the trip.

January 2021: 8 days in Washington DC and NYC for the the Presidential Inauguration. We will begin with a 2 day stop in New York City where we will visit the 9/11 memorial, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, then travel to Washington DC where we will visit: Arlington National Cemetery, The Smithsonian museums,The African American Museum, Museum of Tolerance, George Washington's home, Williamsburg, and then participate in the Inauguration of the President of the United States. This is a GREAT opportunity to see how the process works regardless of political party.
