E Business

The eBusiness Academy provides instruction for and about business. Included in the pathway is instruction and experiences that teach electronic business skills using Microsoft Office (students can earn professional certifications in Microsoft Office). Students also learn the basics of personal finance, develop techniques for making wise consumer decisions, study economic principles, and learn how small medium and large private businesses operate. Students are taught knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for students to succeed in the workforce.

Students complete multiple projects that give students opportunities to practice the core areas of business: management, marketing, finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship. The projects also teach economics, business law, computation and communication.

The eBusiness Academy also focuses on information technology (IT). Students learn to use computers as tools in conjunction with related software in order to make decisions, to produce professional documents, to communicate via the Internet, and to research topics utilizing digital libraries.
