Public Safety Academy

Public Safety 1 - Students research careers and qualifications for careers in public safety and emergency response. Throughout the three years, students participate in a wide range of career-based field experiences and get to interact with a variety of guest speakers who are leaders in our community. Students learn to practice the 6 pillars of character. Students learn the fundamentals of conflict resolution and de-escalation. 

Public Safety 2 - Students participate in hands-on experiences with a variety of public safety equipment. Students take a deeper look at courtroom law, police reporting, personal growth and personal accountability to improve.

Public Safety 3 - Students prepare to transition from being high schoolers towards careers in law enforcement and emergency response, or for whatever their next steps are. There is a focus on personal development of integrity, work ethic, making good choices, health, and being a law enforcement partner who is great to work alongside of. Students earn certifications from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Students participate in multiple ,ock investigations and complete a capstone project.
